Grave Lot PurchasesGrave lots in adult and child sizes are available through the Chapel Office. Purchase includes an amount that is contributed to the endowment fund to provide for the lot's perpetual care.
Installment plans are available with 25% down and the balance paid within the year. All graves on the lot must be paid in full before an interment can occur. Perpetual care includes mowing, sprinkling, leaf collection, tree trimming as needed; it does not refer to maintenance of monuments or decorations on the grave, although that can be arranged separately. |
Interment and MonumentsInterment fees include the cost opening and closing the grave, and preparing and dismantling accommodations for a graveside or chapel service. Interment is authorized only after grave and burial costs have been paid in full. Cremation remains are acceptable and are required to take place in an approved burial container. Space is also available for urn burial above ground in our granite Columbarium.
Arrangements for Monuments and head stones can be made through many reliable local companies. Please check with the Chapel Office before ordering and installation to ensure it adheres to our size limitations. Feel free to contact our staff regarding arrangements to restore older markers to their original appearance. |
Chapel Use and Memorial Day ServicesOur historic chapel may be used in place of the graveside service, if preferred. When hazardous weather or difficult ground conditions exist, we reserve the right to require use of the chapel for interment services; there is no additional charge.
Concordia hosts a brief Memorial Day worship service each year commemorating those who have died in service to our nation. Questions about other services including seasonal decoration of monuments can be answered by contacting us! |
